Abstract: Yi garden, the most glorious one among the Nanxun private gardens in modern times, which was highly praised by Tong Jun in his book Jiangnan Yuanlin Zhi, however remained a little after wars and sabotage, which makes the restoration of Yi Garden become harder. Through the comparative study of images and literature, the author gives an analysis and assessment of Yi garden combined with the investigation and restoration, which helps a lot to find out the original appearance of Yi garden.
