Abstract:
Historic Parks are widely focused on for their history and art. Studley Royal Park including the ruins of Fountains Abbey is one of the earliest historic parks of the 18th century, the study of English Landscape Garden development and the outstanding cases of historic architecture. The park has now become an outstanding urban public green space in Britain. This paper analyzes the historical development of the park, landscape and architectural elements, design methods and the influence. Finally it concludes that influence is mainly reflected in the development trend of leading the landscape, the important study of historical buildings in Britain, the outstanding case of World Cultural Heritage and contemporary urban green open space.
