Abstract:
Edible landscape is an important part of the green infrastructure, and provides food and diverse ecosystem services for cities and residents, therefore it is a sustainable landscape design approach which meet the current environmental demand. The paper discusses the development of edible landscape based on characteristics of present China, and proposes the design strategies of edible landscape. The most important purpose of this paper is to demonstrates the multi-scale practices of edible landscape, and discusses the possibility of those cases on providing multiple services for cities.
