Abstract:
This study is based on the construction technique of “landscape of advantage landform” in the Chinese landscape culture, featuring a historical process of progress and development. Through the interpretation of the contents of many classic entries, such as the enveloping mountains and rivers as a garden, and semantic analysis, it cites typical cases of various characteristics including “Linyou Renshou Palace in Sui Dynasty (Jiucheng Palace in Yang Dynasty)”. It adopts case analogy for analysis. Its construction thought stemmed from the Chinese Fuxi Era, developed in various historical periods of Chinese classical garden construction, and has the characteristics of various historical stages. From the northwest Chinese landscape to the northern royal gardens and Tibet's Potala Palace, they are all affected by it. In artificial engineering construction, the axis alignment layout method, determined by landscape characteristics, is constantly applied to develop and enhance the ideological connotation of “how to borrow from the nature”. This study has important practical significance and reference value for modern landscape architecture design.
