Abstract:
Virtual simulation teaching is a hotspot of the current higher education reform, and an important component of the first-class courses in the “Golden Course” program of the Ministry of Education. Landscape architecture planning and design involves complex and comprehensive knowledge applications. The traditional lecturing-based teaching method can no longer meet the requirements of contemporary design courses. Due to the professional, cutting-edge and practical characteristics, the virtual simulation project of landscape architecture can make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods. Aiming at the characteristics of landscape architecture, this research takes the “parametric simulation of natural waterscape design of virtual simulation experiment”, developed by Southeast University, as an example to discuss and explore the construction and teaching application of virtual simulation experiment projects.
