Abstract:
In order to scientifically guide the construction and development of beautiful and ecologically friendly villages of different scales and characteristics, this research constructs a characteristic index system of rural landscape resources from the aspects of classification and evaluation. Firstly, following value neutrality and based on the man-land relationship theory with due respect to the cultural and geographical contexts, it formulates the system construction principle from the perspectives of physical geographical regionalization and cultural geography, and selects the characteristic elements, and constructs a multi-scale and multi-level characteristic classification system of rural landscape resources. Secondly, based on the principle of “function-value”, it selects the evaluation index from the three dimensions of landscape spatial pattern, landscape process and landscape perception, and constructs the evaluation system of rural landscape resources according to various landscape types. It further selects evaluation indicators on the basis of scientificity, completeness, comparability and operability. Finally, by integrating the classification system and the evaluation system, it builds a multi-level localization rural landscape resource characteristic index system that breaks the administrative boundary. The system aims to provide scientific and efficient guidance and decision-making support for rural landscape protection planning, construction and maintenance management at various scales, and boost rural revitalization.
