Abstract:
Rural landscape in China’s world natural heritage sites is an organic composition of the multi-level value system of China’s world natural heritage sites, which can provide important support for natural heritage protection and social and economic development. Under the background of continuous improvement of international heritage protection concept and China’s territorial spatial planning system, this research interprets the value connotation and protection and development limitations of rural landscape in China’s world natural heritage sites, and constructs a collaborative framework for the protection and development of rural landscape in China’s world natural heritage sites from the three aspects of value recognition, plan formulation and multi-governance. Taking Zhonghu Township, Wulingyuan as an example, this research identifies the ecological, agricultural, cultural and aesthetic values of rural landscape, and proposes relevant strategies for the collaboration between rural landscape heritage protection and social and economic development, in order to provide new ideas of “five-in-one” sustainable development for rural landscape in China’s world natural heritage sites.
