Forest Healing Landscapes

The health-oriented forest landscape is a new type of landscape in recent years. This paper, firstly, introduced the history and present of the forest therapy in Japan, South Korea, and Germany. Then, the study analyzed how the forest benefit to human health and proposed three levels' system of how forest promoting human health. At last, the forest healing landscape planning system was summarized. Discussion on the development of China's forest therapy landscape is of great significance of improving the multifunctional utilization of forest resources, developing regional economy, promoting the health of residents, and raising public awareness of environmental protection.
