On the Embodiment of Local Culture in City Park—Purple Sandstone Setting in Santaishan National Forest Park

With the continuous developing social economy and improving people's living standards, people have higher demands on the environment. It has gained increasingly concern of the environment of forest park which is one of the hot spot for daily leisure, sightseeing and vacation. As an important component of the forest park environment, set stone shows its unique landscaping effect and deep cultural heritage, and is generally used in modern parks. This paper introduces the layout of Suqiang unique redstone in the park environment and the local cultural characteristics based on the background of Santaishan Forest Park. Furthermore, corresponding countermeasures were put forward for the problems existing in the application of the redstone, in order to provide reference for the application of the redstone in other parks in the future.
