Research on the Health Effects of Urban Green Space from the Perspective of Environmental Epidemiology

  • Urban green space, closely related to public health, is an important environmental factor in environmental epidemiology. This research, via literature review, has found that the health effects of urban green space, which respond to various epidemic diseases, are caused by exposure in environment-population-health interactions, and the level of environmental exposure varies with the mediating effects of space effect, time effect, population effect and environmental risks. It also analyzes such research hotspots as dose-response measurement, environmental justice assessment and health environment intervention in urban green space, and further clarifies the limitations and trends of current researches of urban green space, so as to provide a reference for public health-oriented landscape architecture researches.
