Rural Landscape Planning and Design Under the Background of Country’s Cultural Renaissance

Under the background of urbanization, people’s yearning and returning to country life, reflect that the cultural renaissance of Chinese nation must depends on its tradition to further development. On this condition, designers need to determine the foothold of landscape planning and design of rural themes from the perspective of cultural reconstruction and establish a systematic working framework. In practice, the designer could take “homesickness” as the soul, endowing the natural and cultural environment of country with living emotions, so that audience would achieve the spiritual resonance. This paper lists the construction planning examples in Gangyao Village, Yiwu and Yuling Village, Shaoxing, which helps to explore the theoretical and practical problems involved in the planning and design of country landscape.
