Application of Situational Natural Experience in Landscape Design of Children’s Outdoor Activity Spaces: A Case Study of Jinshanling Pinecone Theme Park

As the most direct space for children to connect with nature, children’s outdoor spaces provide children with more possibilities to get in touch with nature. Based on practical project cases, this paper discusses how to follow the characteristics of children’s development in various stages and make landscape space suitable for children's situational experience and thematic exploration. It discusses how to improve the functional attributes of landscape space so that children’s outdoor space can provide more effective values for children’s natural experience.
