Abstract:
Jingdezhen is a special city in the list of National Historical and Cultural Cities which specializes on porcelain industry for more than a thousand years with rich cultural relics. The natural systems are analyzed and the historic city is divided into different geographical units, so that the spatial layout, block pattern and building orientation are discussed. This paper argues that historic landscape of porcelain industry is a product of functional structure and cultural pattern with elements of nature and industry.
