Abstract: Online teaching and virtual reality technology have provided the direction and technical basis for the reform of traditional teaching methods.However,landscape architecture design,as one of the traditional design teaching methods,is inadequate in exploring the adaptability of new things,thus it is relatively backward compared with other related disciplines,such as architectural design. In this paper,the authors summarize the development of online teaching and virtual reality technology in the teaching of design,elaborate the techniques of constructing an interactive teaching platform and the application of function modules and teaching practice based on the network virtual reality technology,and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the platform.This research tries to provide an inspiration for the change in the teaching of landscape architecture design.
