Abstract:
In November 2017, Quanzhou city took the lead in proposing to use ecological continuous belts as a starting point to build a pastoral landscape city to meet the needs of the people for urban ecological space. For now, it has successively completed several demonstration projects such as the Baiqihu Wetland, Pastoral Scenery of Jiushijiu Stream Watershed, and the Shishi Hanjiang Wetland Park. Thankfully, with the aim of solving the problems existing in the current projects under construction, and further promoting the orderly construction of the ecological continuous belt projects in Quanzhou's various districts (counties), the relevant construction departments of Quanzhou Ecological Continuous Belt are attempting to form a set of technical standards for the planning and construction of ecological continuous belts to realize the quality of planning and construction. Taking account of green infrastructure construction standards, this study builds an index system for ecological continuous belt construction in terms of ecological conservation, social services, humanities display and economic development, based on the three elements of the ecological continuous belt, "source patch - corridor - ecological node", which will be conducive to solidify the construction results of current demonstration projects, and gain the experience of replicating and promoting the Quanzhou ecological construction projects. The concept of ecological continuous belt construction will be pushed widely and nationally.
