Abstract: The research and practice on the construction of ecological civilization are heightening concern over the way to solve the ecological environment problems that have become increasingly prominent in the rapid urbanization and the urban natural ecological space management and control at the macro level, while less is explored in terms of the research on stage development, landscape characterized with organic growth and change. Because of its special background and needs, the pastoral landscape city project from Jinjiang Bridge to Shishi Hanjiang Wetland Park provides an exploration case for this research. Based on the current comparison and the nature of planned land use, landscape lands are divided into two categories with four different subtypes, and targeted design strategies are proposed, providing a certain reference for how to create a "growing landscape" that grows with the city and organic changes, so that the city landscape can strike us as continuous and green ecological in the city construction.
