Abstract:
The Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Urbanism, Szent Istvan University, Hungary has a long education history. It has trained a large number of professionals in horticulture and open space design, urban environment construction, regional development planning and natural heritage conservation in Hungary and Europe. Through analysis on the development history, constitution of the faculty, curriculum system, practice teaching and international cooperation and exchanges of the department, this paper summarizes its practical, innovative teaching characteristics and advantages. According to the multiple challenges faced by landscape architecture specialty and industry, it provides reference for the development and reform of landscape architecture specialty education in colleges and universities in China.
