Abstract: Based on the background of contemporary ecological civilization and green development, this paper innovatively studies the relationship between human beings and nature, nature and city from the perspective of traditional Chinese ecological philosophy of “unity of man and nature” and human aesthetics, and puts forward the “Four Natures” methodology of pure nature, close-to-nature, artificial nature and social nature. Applying this methodology, this paper summarizes the 40 years’ development and practice of the landscape architecture concept and achievement in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, and studies how “Four Natures” coexist positively in the urban integrated system, and finally realizes the harmonious coexistence of man and nature through explore innovative development of urban nature protection and resilience construction.
