Abstract:
The Zhedong Canal (Yaojiang River Valley section), which is based on the Yaojiang River system, connects the Qiantang River Basin and the Yongjiang River Basin. It has a long history of development and distinctive regional characteristics, reflecting the influence of canal development on the development of the natural base and the human landscape. This article starts with the development and evolution of the Zhedong Canal in the Yaojiang River Valley and its operational control mechanism, analyzes the landscape situation, development and evolution, and landscape structure of typical settlements, and discusses the relationship between the two. This is of great significance to the protection of the canal heritage and building of landscape cities in the Yaojiang River Valley.
