Abstract:
Intensive agriculture with excessive application of chemical fertilizers and pesticides seriously threatens the safety of farmland ecosystem, and the restoration of farmland ecosystem has become a matter of great urgency in China's agricultural development. The research on field thinning in Guangyang Island aims to combine traditional farming wisdom with modern science and technology, and explore the optimization and combination of technologies for ecological farmland restoration. This research puts forward three strategies of “wasteland transformation into farmland, farmland selection in suitable fields and soil restoration by moistening” and eight technologies of “farmland planning, land consolidation, soil improvement, ecological mechanization, biological control, orchard grassing, watersaving irrigation and planting-breeding circulation”, thus providing a set of mature, efficient and low-cost new contemporary paradigms and references for comprehensively exploring a road featuring integrated development of ecology, science, technology and industry for the ecological civilization of the Yangtze River.
