Abstract: Guangyang Island Comprehensive Ecological Restoration Demonstration Site is a comprehensive model experimental area selected in the plan implementation stage upon completion of the island-wide planning. In accordance with the requirements of the “optimal value life community” theory, and on the basis of finding out the three major backgrounds, this research finished such demonstrations as the pioneering demonstration of concept and theory implementation, “four-planning collaboration” green planning demonstration, “three steps and ten methods” green design demonstration, “two-three-four-eight” green construction demonstration, pioneering demonstration of technology, product, material and construction method, and scenario demonstration of optimal value life community, with a view to reproducing the marvelous Bayu rural ecological pastoral landscape, and achieving the harmony between human and nature.
