Abstract:
The year 2022 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of Beijing Forestry University and the 105th anniversary of the birth of Academician Chen Junyu. A systematic study of his academic ideas is of great significance for running Chinese landscape architecture education well and promoting the high-quality development of landscape architecture and flower industry. By means of literature review, interviews and discussions, Academician Chen's academic thought formation process and profound connotation were analyzed from three perspectives:academic thoughts, educational thoughts, and academic influence. According to the study, Academician Chen Junyu's love of the party and the nation, love of students and people, loyalty to the work, and desire for serving the country via science and education are the driving forces for academic creativity.Diligence being good at learning, having a thorough knowledge of both western and traditional Chinese, learning from the ancients to the present, and the integration of knowledge and activity are the knowledge bases for the academic innovation. The talent concept of teaching and education, and the combination of production,education, and research, and scientific research centered on national strategy, industry development, discipline construction, and social development. The idea of serving the country through science and education, which focuses on national strategy, industry development, discipline construction and social development, is the magic weapon for his academic thoughts to achieve fruitful achievements.
