Abstract:
Water morphology of lake is an important part of the landscape space. In the past, researches of lake landscape water forms were largely limited to qualitative descriptions. This paper introduces a quantitative method to study the water morphology of urban lake landscapes. By adopting basic geometry, fractal geometry and Euclidean geometric indicators to describe the water morphology, and citing the case of 28 publicly recognized lake landscapes, we have obtained the index values or intervals of water morphology through quantitative evaluation. Based on linear regression analysis, we have explored the influences and correlations of various indicators, and analyzed and sumarized the characteristics of lake landscape water morphology
