Abstract: The evaluation and design method incorporating landscape performance has been constantly explored. This paper introduces related concepts of landscape performance and existing quantitative evaluation practice, and explores the ways to guide the design practice from the angle of landscape performance. It conducts a case study of the landscape design of the Jiading Sports Center, Tongji University. By analyzing the practical methods of campus landscape design based on the landscape performance theory, the paper expects to provide new ideas for the future campus landscape construction practice.
